Dear Parents/Guardians of Desert Oasis Students: It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you to our new school year. The faculty and staff join me in saying we are extremely happy to have you as part of the Desert Oasis Elementary School family. I hope your summer was a restful and relaxing one. It's amazing how quickly it goes by and a new school year begins. I love this time of year where I get to meet with families and students. I encourage you to have constant communication throughout the year with your child's teacher so that we can make every effort to support your child's educational goals. Our goal is to make sure you have access to your child’s academic progress. For this purpose, this year you will have the opportunity to participate in various trainings that will help you navigate the system to keep track of your child’s progress. When you visit our school, ask for a schedule of the computer class that will teach you how to access your child’s Synergy account. It is the commitment and vision of all at Desert Oasis Elementary for each student to be their very best academically, socially, and behaviorally. It is an honor to continue with the great partnership that we have established in our educational community, and we welcome your input. We are all lifelong learners, and it is only with all of our support that we can move forward together to support all students in reaching their highest potential.
